Computer Adaptive Testing, How to challenge learners

Posted: November 22, 2012 in Assessment, Education, Educational Technologies

I came across this clip whilst reading an article on Edudemic.  It examines a way in which computer-based adaptive technologies are being used to administer, adapt and presumably mark student tests.  It is noted that these tests are like mental gym work that assist in developing skill and speed as the computer adapts the test to increase the challenge as students get answers correct, whilst lowering the challenge for incorrect responses.  This makes for something to consider.
