This short piece is in response to having just read an article on Edudemic titled, The Teacher’s Quick Guide to Blended Learning. The info-graphic in the article is also well-worth exploring, so I have included it below.

I agree with what is written, that ‘Blended Learning’ is an overused term, but I also believe that it is one that is not fully understood.  Many educators view this term as being one only applied to learning experiences of their students and that they themselves are removed from it.  I challenge that view and believe that we are all students, teachers and educators so all have to embrace the opportunity to experience and learning from Blended Learning opportunities.  Much of the time I would say that everyone is already a practitioner.  After all it is arguable the way of the future, both in educational institutions and the workplace.  Actually, are these two fields really different from each other?  You choose.
